November Project...
Family, work, friends…GOD and more, these are some of the things that I am thankful for. In November I will take pictures of 15 things that I am thankful for.
You would be surprise of the things that we do and not even think twice about them. Besides eating this November take time to think about the little things - the fact that you can walk, talk, see, having family close by, friends (second family) or the joys of parenthood (even about the fact that some days doesn’t feel like much joy).
Be thankful and enjoy more than just food, enjoy your friends and family because they are there for you and you should be there for them.

Something worth reading...An inside look at what Memphis really is
Great friend of mine, awesome essay on Memphis and why is a great or bad place
Rock a Bye Baby
Well, I have been sick today but something was puzzling my brain. This morning Sarah was singing the well know song Rock-a-bye Baby to Jaxon and I decided to make my own version.
Rock a bye baby
in the tree top
when the wind blow
the cradle will rock
if the bough breaks the baby will fall
down will come baby cradle and allĀ
My version a little more GORY (I won’t go into detail) but mention the baby falling and cracking his head. Sarah told me I was crazy but I replied with “what do you think it will happened if the baby falls off the branch with a cradle, someone will get hurt”. This led me to search for the true meaning of this song, come to find out the name was Hush A Bye Baby later changed to Rock a bye Baby, the words slightly different. Also 3 of the 4 possible stories behind it were about a baby falling, one of them the baby even fell in a river and never found (very sad); the last story was political (we are not getting into that). It really bother me about the whole thing of the baby falling so I search for a version that made sense and was a little more “child friendly” sort of speak.
Rock-a-bye, baby,
On the treetop,
When the wind blows
The cradle will rock,
If the bough breaks
The cradle will fall,
But Mama will catch you,
Cradle and all.
See how Mama will catch the baby, sounds safer than letting the kid fall with the cradle.

A new blog...
This is a new beginning, trying to write a blog with something that makes sense and its fun to read. I know, you see some of the older post and think - “you already started”- I did, but I wasn’t happy with the out come. I am giving myself a second impression.
You may or may not agree with my thoughts, music or photography; but this is me and what I do and not going to change it. so lets have some fun and enjoy de ride.
